Overview

In 2017, the Manangatang Racing Club celebrated 100 Years of Racing at Manangatang. As part of the celebrations, the MRC commissioned three renowned photographers – Andrew Chapman, Jaime Murcia and Noel Butcher – to photograph the build-up to the meeting, the big day of racing and the post-races party.

The photographers produced a beautiful collection of images that show all aspects of racing at Manangatang. These photos are being made into a photo book by Ten Bag Press that celebrates the colour, life and history of one of Victoria’s most iconic bush race meetings. The book will also feature a foreword by champion jockey Luke Nolen, who was born in Manangatang, a history essay by Adam McNicol and design by Phil Campbell. The book can now be purchased from this website with local pick-up options available.
