TB Whiteside is the alter ego of Mallee born and bred musician Paul Drendel, who now resides just down the road in the Wimmera.
He is a country boy through and through and has lived in the Western part of Victoria for most of his life. But that is as close as this album gets to being ‘Country & Western’.
Like his forefathers that carved an existence out of the rough Mallee scrub, TB Whiteside has carved these songs out with a rough thought, an acoustic guitar, and a melody. His lyrics will have you grinning from ear to ear, and in the next moment, have you crying into your beer.
