Ten Bag Press is a publishing business based in Ballarat, Victoria, specialising in rural history and corporate history books. Our first project was the book Manangatang, which was produced in conjunction with renowned photographer Andrew Chapman and was released in 2011.
Our recent publications include Quilpie: A pictorial history of an iconic Queensland outpost, which was produced for the town of Quilpie’s centenary celebrations in April 2017, and For Mutual Good: The story of CUA, which was published in mid-2017 to celebrate the 70th birthday of Australia’s largest credit union. Our latest book is They’re Racing at Manangatang, which celebrates one of Australia’s most famous once-a-year race meetings. Boasting beautiful photography by Noel Butcher, Andrew Chapman and Jaime Murcia, and brilliant design by Phil Campbell, the book will be on sale from late June. Looking further ahead, our most ambitious project yet, a photographic documentary of Victoria’s Mallee region, has commenced. The resultant book, The Mallee: A journey through the small towns of north-west Victoria, will be released in November 2019.
